Stinks, Stinks, Stinks, QUADRUPLE Stinks!

I'm so not a happy camper right now! Lap top was working great last night....go to use it this afternoon....KEYBOARD ISN'T WORKING!!! GGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

So, I call tech support for an hour, dang guy can't speak English, they don't have any parts here in the U.S. (that should be my first sign right???)....why spend money on something that doesn't work the 2nd day I get it? Ya, I could have had it replaced, but that's scary!

If this was a shirt that didn't fit, I would take it back! Man...after the runaround and an hour later, they finally gave me labels (to print) and I have to track down a stupid UPS store (does AJ even have one????).

Anyway! Long story short! NO MORE LAPTOP! DANG DELL! I'm so furious! No more referrals for you!

SORRY!!!! I'm not buying another one...I can use that money somewhere else! I'll just be stuck with my crappy desktop that runs slower than ME!

WOO HOO! Tuesday is here!

Accomplished list:

1. Went to the doctor, everything is healing good! 6 more weeks of taking it easy and getting treated like a baby! I'm loving that!
2. Meeting at work is over! Went well, there are things to improve on, but we are ready to start!
3. Laptop arrived! WOO HOO! Grandma Hall was there to accept the delivery. Haven't seen it yet, but I'm very excited!

Things left to do:

1. Working for 2 more hours (been here since 5:00 am, getting off at 6:00 pm)
2. SLEEP!!!

YEA!

I splurged! Loving my busy Tuesdsay...kind of!

Yes it's true....I splurged before my pay raise has even came in! No, it's not a house (sadly)...that will probably be awhile. But I bought myself a new laptop! Woo hoo! And guess what color?!?!?! LIME GREEN!!! I'm going to love it! It just shipped, so I should have it on Tuesday! YEA ME!

That Tuesday is a big day! It's our first function in my new position. We are in charge of a 2 hour meeting, and I'm the one in charge of being fun and making the people laugh! PRESSURE! It's going to be fun! Can't disclose the information in case my friends at work are reading this! :)

Tuesday---my follow-up appointment from my surgery. I'm still swollen and sore in one incision, but not as bad as before. Every day I wake up and feel a little better. One of these days I'll be back to normal (if I ever was normal).

Tuesday---I'm working like 12 hours that day....have to make time since I have to go to the doctor!

Tuesday--- hoping to sleep! :)

Thank you to all of my friends and family who has either called or came by to check on me! I greatly appreciate it more than you ever know! The whole Relief Society Presidency called me everyday, the Elder's Quorum came over and gave me a blessing, all my family and friends who came to the hospital! And to Nikki and Sarah who just came by and dropped off this beautiful plant! I have so much love and my heart is full! You all mean the world to me! THANK YOU!

Surgery....again?

Yes, it is true....2008 is not my year to be healthy! Saturday, August 9, 2008, I went to the Science Center with my friends Peggy and Rich and then we went out to eat at a yummy Mexican place...nachos yummy! Then I came home that afternoon and my parents and grandma wanted to go out to eat again for dinner. We went to Village Inn and I had my favorite cheeseburger! Anyway, I know what you are all thinking...man she's a pig! :) Anyway, that night I went home, and I was talking to my friend Heather on the phone and then went to bed around 10:00 or so. I started having the biggest pains in my right side. I just thought I ate too much and it was settling right on my stomach. So, an hour goes by, and I decide to call my mom and dad and wake them up! my mom decided to come down to my house, because she could tell I was in a lot of pain and I was crying! We sat in my room fro about an half an hour when we decided to go to the ER. We were blessed, because there was no one in the waiting room in the ER and I got to straight back. They took some urine, blood and did an ultrasound, and gave me an IV full of pain medicine...which was extremely needed! Anyway, another hour goes by and the test results were in! I had..........GALLSTONES...and the word these was Numerous! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I'm 28! So, they admit me into the hospital, and I have my own room, and just waited for surgery. I was able to go to surgery, and had the scope (three holes in my stomach) and they sucked out my gallbladder. Now, 3 days after that I tried to go to work, and made it 1/2 a day. I'm still in a lot of pain, but a different kind of pain, the incision pain and it feels like I have done a billion sit ups. Anyway, I survived and many friends and family have been checking on me. I finally made it back to my place, and I'm grateful that I was able to have parents who take care of me :)
