I'M OFFICIALLY A HOMEOWNER! Let the painting, floor laying, carpet installing, appliance installing, setting up electricity, water and sewer, fighting the post office to find my mailbox and key, and moving begin!

TODAY!!

Today is "Sign the Papers" day! WOO HOO!

Next week everything should close and I get the keys! Let the party begin!

15 Days to Go!

15 Days until I'm supposed to close on my house! I just got word the bank finally signed the latest document (only been waiting on them for week)....so the file is getting processed through the Underwriter! I'm so excited, nervous, scared, happy, nervous...nervous...nervous! LOL I know this is the right thing for me to do with my life right now and I just pray it all goes well and that we can fix up my house so cute! My mom and dad have been great so far helping me with little things getting it ready for inspection and I appreciate them so much! My Realtor, Jim, is awesome too, he's like my 2nd dad so he's been helping as well! Can't wait! :)

Guess What? I'm a Big Kid Now!

I'm growing up!

After Months of searching, and many offers rejected...someone finally picked me! I'm getting a fantastic deal! It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, and 2 car garage house. It's about 1200 sq feet and just perfect for Lucky and I. Now the pictures below are kind of scary (it's a repo...enough said) and it's not going to look like this at all when we are through with it! I'm supposed to close on Sept. 30th and so it's nerve racking and still crazy that it still might not be mine, but things are looking good! Yikes! I'm almost a homeowner!

My "Other" Grandma

Today I said goodbye to my dear sweet "Grandma" Erna Martin. True, she's not related by blood, but she is a very great friend that we are going to miss dearly! She supported me in so many things and always had a smile on her face when I saw her. She had a little spell with her health and she is headed to live in Utah with her daughter. I know this is what she needs and I'm going to miss her so much! I have 4 adoptive Grandmas in my ward, and each hold a special place in my heart. Sister Erna Martin, I miss you already and can't wait to see you again sometime soon! Take care of yourself! This picture is of 2 of my "Grandmas" --Peggy Ecton and Erna Martin.....my other 2 are Jeri Anderson and Faun Childers. I'm so glad I have such great women to look up to, and there are many more in the Ward that I look up to as well! I don't think I can ever leave Ironwood Ward! Love ya all!
