American Heart Association Walk---5K

My mom's work were taking part in the American Heart Association Walk today. So my mom and I geared up, practiced, and went to Tempe Town Lake. There were so many people along with their dogs! We did the 5K walk, and we survived, it was a great time. And I went to the dark side (wearing Green and Gold) because we were representing Skyline High School. Great job mom! We did it!

The Rotozip!

My dad was very patient with me last weekend teaching me how to use the rotozip to cut out the plywood for our decorations. I just made 2 boo-boos, but it was pretty cool! Thanks dad! I'm still going to let him do that for our business, he's better and faster :)

How Great Thou Art

Man, what an emotional day! Gotta love those church meetings when you cry through all 3 meetings. A family in the ward (Hall Family, the other Michelle Hall) is moving, and they are so spiritual, it was very touching, I truly am going to miss them. But what touched me was Relief Society.

I play in the piano in Relief Society, and although I'm not the best piano player, it has been such a great experience, and I have increased my talent. Anyway, I'm getting ready to play the opening song, "How Great Thou Art" and just finished the introduction and was ready to play, and BAM! the women in the ward sang so boldly and so powerful, it was so amazing, I couldn't even hear my playing. I had to look around the room, I didn't realize how full it was until that particular moment, it was very Powerful!

Then, we start singing in the 3rd verse which goes:

OH MY GOSH! I have heard and played this song many times, but this time this touched me, my eyes were getting blurry, and I don't know how I made it through playing through the rest of the song. I'm so thankful that we have a Heavenly Father who sent his Son to die for MY sins! I love him with all of my heart!

Talk about an emotional day! WOWZER! I'm so glad that I went to church today.

It's one of those days!

It's one of those days when I feel really lonely. I did my yardwork, BY MYSELF (again), my parents went on a date alone (They need this time together, and I'm excited they went), and I have mice in the house once again! I need a man! Yes, I have said this many times before, but it would be nice. I have told the people I'm renting from about the mice, so I hope they can be taken care of. Right now I borrowed my parent's cat and he's helping, I just have to pick up the gross things after he has his fun (I have a video on my phone that I want to download). Anyway, it's a Friday night, and I'm lonely! I need a new hobby or something to keep me busy. Plus Valentine's Day is around the corner, YUCKY! :)

Ok, I'll stop complaining again....but all you out there, enjoy your husbands and cherish every moment you have with them! Singlehoodness (my own word thank you very much) is not so fun!


Oh, and I want to cut my hair, and a lot of people are getting bangs back....I don't want to be a follower, I just want to look more professional and grown up (I might have an interview soon)....what do you think about me with Bangs?
