Happy 5th Birthday to Lucky!
I can't believe it's been 5 years! On August 19th, was the 5 year anniversary we adopted Lucky I remember searching all day for a puppy. Dad, Mom, and Grandma Hall and I went to the dog pounds, PetsMart and everything. We stopped at a Petsmart and found a puppy, but it was a female. They said we couldn't have a female because I was living at my parents at the time and they had a female (Shelby) so I had to adopt a male puppy. I loved this puppy...and they said oh, she has brothers at the Petsmart on Power and the 202. We hopped in the truck and went. There were 2 boys left, but I saw Lucky! I saw his coloring (the tan and his eyeliner eyes) and fell instantly in love with him. They put him in my arms and I didn't let him go! I signed the papers and paid for him and bought all of his puppy needs! He was mine! He's been an awesome companion for these 5 years! He's always happy, hardly gets in trouble, goes riding on the quads, travels everywhere with me in the backseat, and I love that he talks and whines and wags his butt and thumps his tail when he's so happy! He's mine!
Happy birthday Lucky Magoo Hall! He got some bones and shared with Foxie...and also got birthday rides on the quad with grandpa and grandma! He was in 7th Heaven!

Grandma- Ethel Jane Hulsey Hall
Ethel Jane Hulsey Hall passed away early yesterday morning. I had just gotten to work when I received the phone call from my dad. I left immediately after. We spent the whole day planning and calling people and spent 3 hours at the funeral home making all the arrangements. Right now, I'm holding up ok...but I'm sure next Friday and Saturday aren't going to be as good for me. She asked that I help give the history of her life. :( I love my Grandma!

One of my best friends....
Grandma Hall is one of my best friends in this world! She would do anything for me, my family, or anyone that she comes in contact with. These past couple of weeks she's slowly slipping away from this world. It's so hard to see her like this, but I know that she has lived an awesome 93 years! She could still live another 50! She's a fighter and is still fighting. The past couple of days we have seen her go from not being able to walk, to a wheelchair, now confined in bed. She's so ready to see my Grandpa again, and I know I'm being selfish and still want her here....but I also know that we will see each other again someday. She's still hanging on...but it's not looking good. I just wanted to let everyone out there know that knows her....say a prayer for her...my family....and everyone knows this amazing lady! We don't want her to suffer...we don't want to say goodbye....but I just want to say, I love you Grandma! Give Grandpa a gigantic hug for me!

Owls!
So, last Sunday after leaving my parents' house, I looked up and saw Owls! I said mom grab your camera! What a pretty cool site to see in the Valley of the Sun. These 2 owls were just hanging out on the power line. The one on the right looked scrawny and haggard, but they were both beautiful. There used to be owls in St. Johns at the old white church that we would see every Sunday. I love fun memories and seeing God's creatures!

We Clean Up Nice!
We had fun going to different backdrops on formal night. The first night we really didn't get a good picture, but went ahead and bought one because we didn't know if we'd get any good ones. This is the one where I'm in the pink and black shirt. The 2nd formal night we had so many good ones to choose from! I like this first one of us three, because I love my parents so much!

This one is actually a good one I think, I hate pictures of myself, but I can handle this one. As soon as I took it, my mom said, we're buying that one (without seeing it) she knew it was going to be a good one too!

Aren't they so cute? I love it!

This is the first one...I'm normally the same height as my dad...didn't realize I had that big of shoes!

Puerto Vallarta
Puerto Vallarta was HOT and HUMID! It wasn't as pretty as Cabo, but we still got to see some amazing sites. We took a jeep tour and got to see the back side of the city. This was were the poorer people lived. They were the happiest people for what little they had. The kids didn't know about video games and just had fun playing outside, even bare footed! It was fun to see them! We stopped at a tequila making factory, not my favorite place, but interesting to see how they make it. As you can see by the 2 pictures below, how hot it was! Even in the jeeps with no AC, dad's and my back were soaked! Yea, a little gross! I was so glad to go to the ocean and jump or rather sit in! We ate at a nice place and just enjoyed our vacation. That night mom and dad went to another excursion called Rhythm of the Night and stayed and shopped and hung out at some of the lounges on board. It was a nice place to see. We even saw an LDS church! It was cool.
