So, I’m putting this out. I’m a very bad LDS person. I’m not an example to anyone…do not be like me!
I know that I have been taught my whole life to keep the Sabbath Day Holy. Occasionally, we don’t, and I really wanted to go to the Sugarland Concert. It happened to be this past Sunday. My Uncle Rusty and I went and we had a blast! The concert was
awesome, the lighting and sound was
awesome, and Sugarland was
AWESOME! The trip home….
NOT SO awesome.
On our way home, a huge black bag of trash came out of the truck ahead of me, and I hit it. It made the loudest sound I have ever heard. I was going 65 mph on the Freeway, cars on both sides, no way to avoid it. We got out, and try to get everything pulled out. You’ll never guess what was in that stupid piece of trash! 2 huge metal kitchen bowls, a bucket, and tongs and some other crap! Ya, that all went through my bumper and got stuck. We got everything out and I saw it was a little dinted. Heck, it was 12:00 at night, we wanted to get home and it was dark. We made it home safe, and I looked at it the next morning and had my dad look at it. It was pretty lose and had some gashes. My mom suggested I take it to the auto body shop to get an estimate; it’s a brand new car! 4,000 miles! The guy told me it was at least going to be $1,000 and it’s sitting on the radiator, that can’t be good. So, needless to say, my brand new car is in the shop. My insurance will now go up.
Lesson Learned. Keep the Sabbath Day Holy!
Yes, I know, I’m BAD….I’ll be the first to admit it. I’m not perfect.
