Thank you!

Thank you all for your comments about the Canada position. I'm not going to do it, I emailed some questions to the management team about the position, and they wouldn't answer anything, not even the simplest ones! Anyway, I just don't have a good feeling about it! Thank you all for your encouragement and support. Plus...I have to stay here to take care of my parents since my brother is in Vegas, and my sister will be moving soon. Her husband joined the Army, so when he gets stationed somewhere, she'll probably be joining him.

I also love it here in the Valley of the Sun, and I'm probably going to settle down here and become a grown-up. I going to start looking for a house and get established :)

Thank you all again!

Opportunity

Ok, so I go to work this morning, and there's an email from our director. One of us (out of 60) has a chance to go to Canada for 6 months to a year to help start up a new university. I'm thinking about applying...but not sure...what would you do if you were in my shoes.... AKA single :)

Pros

1) Great Opportunity

2) See different places

3) Meet New People

4) Great thing to put on a resume

Cons

1) Be away from family (I'm very close to my family)

2) Probably can't take my puppy (we are always together)

3) Don't know anyone in Canada

4) Will be very lonely

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Happy Anniversary Newleyweds of 32 Years!

Happy Anniversary to my mom and dad! My grandma, granny, sister, and brother all got our money goether and bought them a nights stay at a bed and breakfast at Saguaro Lake. It's called Saguaro Lake Ranch and they loved it! They have been through so much, especially these past 4 months with my dad being sick. They said they had the best time laughed and talked, and just enjoyed one another. I'm glad that we were able to do this for them. I love them so much! And look...my dad has graduated to walking with a cane....no more walker! WOO HOO! He's also driving...yes, DRIVING himself to physical therapy which is a relief for us and a blessing! Thank you everyone for your prayers. He still has a long way to go!
He wasn't happy with me taking his picture :)

Only Michelle....

Only me (Michelle) would get excited for a new happenin' place in Apache Junction. QUIK TRIP BABY! I love this place. Not only does the name imply the very fact that it is a quick trip when you go in....but I just love it! I can go in there and not come out smelling like coffee!
I love the tacquitos...and now they have breadsticks and egg rolls. Not too healthy, but so yummy! This is the first one in Apache Junction, and it's about 1 mile from my house and it just opened yesterday! And of course my parents told me and I jumped in the car...with Lucky and all in the backseat...got a tacquito! YUMMY! Dinner!
Can I get a WOO HOO!!!! Apache Junction is making the big league in my book once again! I love it out here! :) The simple pleasures in life.

Got motivation?

Ok, I have 7 weeks of school left and I see the end in sight!!!

Tonight we went out as a family and had Chinese food (yummy) and my dad went out too! YEA! Anyway, so the best part was the exchange of reading everyone's fortune...I think I have the best one, because it fits my life right now...and I'm hoping the fortune is correct.

Here it goes:

"You're transforming yourself into someone who is certain to succeed."

As soon as I read it, I knew I needed to "blog" it...funny! :)
