Tomorrow morning at 7:30....I'm going to get my ugly wrist fixed. I have taken on a lot of my mom's features, and this is one of them (I have many things like aches and pains that my mom has). She and I have (had) a gigantic cyst in my wrist! Yucky! (My mom had hers removed several years ago)
I have had it for about 7 years now. Last year the doctor stuck 2 needles in it and drained it, and the bump went down, I was so happy. Only to come back a couple of months later. Now it's bigger, badder, and it hurts like a you-know-what. This first picture is about how far I can bend my wrist without pain.
The doctor that has worked on my dad's knee is doing my surgery tomorrow. He's a great doctor and I have total faith in him. I'm going to be put under, and it's an outpatient surgery that shouldn't last more than 30 minutes. I'm not worried about it at all, and I'm finally excited to get rid of this thing. Below is the bump....GROSS!
This is a funny looking picture....yes, it's my wrist! :)
This is my right hand, on how my left hand should look!
Anyway, all is well, and I need to go to bed to get some sleep before my fun day tomorrow. My dad and Bro. McCoid from our ward gave me a blessing tonight so I'm ready to go! I have tomorrow and Friday off work (which is the best part of all), and I'm ready to be pampered by my parents this time!!! Wish me luck! :) Oh, and I'm trying to talk my mom into playing the piano for me in Relief Society on Sunday...another good part to this.

I have had one for two years. A couple of months ago I looked down at my wrist and it had completly disappeared. So far (knock on wood) it has not returned.
