It's been about 4 years.....and I finally got drawn to hunt elk once again! My brother, dad, and I put in every year, and this year my brother and I both got drawn to hunt in October. However, my brother will be probably in Iraq at this time, so we're going to see if he can go another time, or if my dad can work something out. Woo hoo! I know it sounds morbid, but we don't do it for the trophy or antlers, we do use all the meat.

I got drawn one time when I was 14 and I hit the elk in the butt and we never found it. I think that tramatized me for life, but I love the jerky my dad always brought home from his hunts. Good luck this season. Love, Cam
I hope everything works out so you can all go on the hunt. Glad you decided against the Canada position!
those elk are huge! congrats on getting drawn.. i know it is a slim chance. that will be so fun!
Yes, Bonnie Gardner is my sister-in-law. She is a Laughlin now and lives down there in Mesa. She has a 4-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son. Small world huh?
