Yea! My dad is home! It's nice to have him home...but we still have a long ways to go. At least 6 weeks he has to get a daily IV of antibiotics. Twice a week he gets physical therapy (thankfully they come to the house), and once a week a visit by a home nurse to take blood samples to track the infection. He's doing a lot better! This week some of has have taken turns of taking off work to be with him all day. Wednesday it was my mom's turn, then yesterday my Granny came and stayed with him, and today it's my turn. I get to play nurse! We are very grateful for everyone's prayers and support! And he walked up the ramp that we built! WOO HOO! I took pictures, but they are on my mom's camera...so we documented his first steps :) Anyway, thank you all again!
On a side note...I guess he broke the record at that hospital. He was the patient who has stayed the longest (10 days) :) Hee hee!
