Christmas Pictures!
Wow, I have a lot of posts, and I'm still not finished with December, what a great month! This Christmas my mom, dad, and I loaded up the truck and took the dogs and made a trip to Vegas to spend with Corey (my brother) and his family--Michelle and Austin. We got there on Sunday night, and ate BBQ Wings at a place. Then Monday we went shopping and were able to get some good deals at stores having a 50% off sale. That night we attended a Mass service with Michelle and Austin at their church. I actually enjoyed it and had a lot of questions for them. Then Austin (who is 10) and I were told to be in bed by 9:30 so we bunked and went to sleep waiting for Santa. I actually had to wake him up at 6:00 (usually I get up at 4:30 to wake everyone up) and we had breakfast and and then it was present time. I didn't have anything to open until the end....Corey made me a Cedar Chest! It's so beautiful and he did a great job! I can't believe he would spend all the time and money and make me something to cherish for my entire life. I love my boober (I call him that---for my brother). Anyway, I love it and it all ready has it's place in my house. Now, I need to fill it! It will be cherished forever, and hopefully passed down through generations! It was a great Christmas. Then yesterday, we had another Christmas. My granny and uncle Rusty came out and we opened their gifts, and I was blessed again! My mom and dad gave me a kitchen aid mixer (yea!!) and a sewing machine....granny got me a food processor and of course a lot of homemade things (great work) and then some more houses to add to my Christmas village. It was a great Christmas! Lucky also received a new bed and some yummy treats! He's just as spoiled!Well, I'll post some pictures now of my cedar chest and my family, I didn't get any pictures at yesterday's gift opening though :)
Corey received a shoe polishing kit--has to do that all the time for the military :)
Here's my cedar chest!
