So, I'm writing my paper that is due on Monday...not so bad at procrastinating right now, but I need a break! I have to reflect that I love this time of year...just these few weeks out of the summer...Monsoon Season! I love seeing the storm come over the Superstition Mountain, down pouring, showing us our streets cannot handle a lot of rain. Just kidding. I really do like the storms though! I sure do miss living where there is actually weather other than a sunny day :). Growing up in St. Johns we knew of the seasons somewhat. We had winter, an occasional snow day to not go to school. Then we had spring where all the trees were in bloom. We had a summer, could go swimming at the city pool, or playing in the irrigation ditch. We also had fall, where the pretty green grass died, and it was time for the County Fair. Here in the valley, not so much, we have winter (80 degrees....sitting in your shorts on Christmas day), and we have summer. Going to school in Flagstaff I sure do miss the snow! Even though classes hardly got cancelled, it was so beautiful. I loved it when it snowed, it seemed to put the city at ease and it was actually quiet! Boy....where did those days go?
Anyway...I just was thinking about it...and need to take a break of reflecting about conflict (that is what I have to write on for my paper) :)
