I've become domesticated!

My mom took the time out of her busy schedule to help me become a little domesticated! She helped me measure out the material for my new curtains. I pinned, ironed, and sewed these cute little valances. I have these 3 little windows (16 X 16) and we spruced them up a bit! I love them! We're going to make one more valance to go over my sliding glass door, SOMEDAY :) It was fun learning a new skill! Thanks Mom!

Mixed Emotions

Yesterday was a sad, but good day. My parents placed my Grandma Hall in a rest home; it has come to that time in her life that this is the next step. She has lived with my parents for about 3 ½ years and I have enjoyed getting to see her almost every day. We have had good days and bad days with her but I know my parents will never regret having her in their home. She’s starting to really lose her memory, which is so sad to see her like that. She hardly eats anything, and now it’s hard to get her to take care of herself. This decision has not come easy, but I know it’s the best thing for her and for my parents. We were lucky to find a rest home that only has like 5 ladies in there, its LDS ran, and is very clean. This will be the best place for her. We will visit her every weekend. Last night it was strange not seeing her sitting in her couch, but I know this is what needs to be done. Everyone loves her! We go to church and the people flock around her! Even in the stores people treat her so nice. She loves to people watch, and she’s not scared to find out more about people if she sits next to them. Even though some days she ditched out of church, she still has a strong testimony.

Grandma…we’ll miss you but we’ll still see you!

Quick Trip to Safford

My Mom beat me to it, so she's already posted about this! But her and I made a quick trip to Safford to see my cousins! I love these guys! Amber and Sylvia threw Tiffany a baby shower for her baby boy coming next month. I can't wait to meet him! The baby shower was hit..the decorations were cute, the cake was yummy, and so was the food! My cousins are the best! Here are some pictures of Amber, Sylvia (with another new cousin Kaylee), Tracy, Aunt Suzie, Mari, and Tiffany. Then of course we saw the new temple going in. It's so cool! I would have never thought when I was at EAC that there would be a temple here! So awesome! :) Thanks Faunces for a great time! :)

Sit....good dog!

These were taken on my cell phone, so they're not the best (and I hope the videos work) but, I couldn't resist! Foxie and my parents are now in the Training Program at Petsmart (that was Foxie's Christmas Present) and they were doing their homework last night. They are focusing on Sitting (but we can't say sit anymore) so they use hand signals. Lucky was doing this too and Foxie and him were doing so well! Then my mom was practicing cradling and snuggling, so Lucky of course had to get involved. The best part was trying to go on a walk, and Foxie was dragging her booty and was scared! These two puppies are the best! :)

Remembering

I was checking out my Friend and old roomie Holly's blog and she posted pictures of Flagstaff and I decided to copy! :) It got me thinking about my life the last 10-11 years and I had great times with all my roomies and friends. From EAC to NAU to Mesa, I have grown up so much and it's because of all of these friends. These pictures are all random and some may kill me for posting them, but I had great times and many memories! Too bad most of them are hitched and have kids cuz we can't do this stuff anymore like we used to, but I will cherish these moments forever! Enjoy the pictures!

My Friend Heather took me to Sedona for my 30th birthday. We were able to see the Festival of Trees, Lights, Snow, and Sedona! We had a blast! Thank you so much Heather for a great 30th birthday. Here are pictures of Sedona and my friend :)
