My 30th Birthday!

My Friend Heather took me to Sedona for my 30th birthday. We were able to see the Festival of Trees, Lights, Snow, and Sedona! We had a blast! Thank you so much Heather for a great 30th birthday. Here are pictures of Sedona and my friend :)

I have the best baby! :)

I have the best baby in the world! All I have to say (right after he comes in from going potty) is "BEDTIME" and he runs and jumps on my bed and is ready to snooze! I have to put a sheet on top of my bedspread because he sheds so much...and I have to pillows at the bottom of the bed to keep him from scratching my frame. He was so cute tonight, he is actually laying on the pillows! He's snoring as we speak! I love him! I couldn't have asked for a better friend! :) This is the only man who I'll let share my bed (for now) LOL!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends. My mom always prepares the best meal and everything had it's place in her fancy dishes. We had Granny, Rusty, Rod, Brandon, Jeremy, John, Mindy, Ashley and Courtney along with Dad, Mom, Grandma and I. We had so much food but it was great!! We then finished the evening with games and just chatting. I love this time of year!

The next morning, my mom and I hit the black Friday sales, and we got some great things! I got a new TV, DVD, Scrapbooking stuff, and a new house for my Christmas Village. I also went and traded in my car. It was out of warrant, and the AC was acting up, so I traded it off. I went by myself and I did all the work, and got a great deal! It was a great day!

We then put up Christmas stuff, which is fun! I'm finally finishing up my house with the stuff, just have my Christmas village left to do. I love the holidays!

Blinds!

My mom and I installed my blinds this weekend. We did these 3 little ones in my living room and the gigantic one in my bedroom. The 3 little ones were a pain in our booties! There was no room to work, so it was crazy...but we did it. The next day we did my bedroom one, and this one was crazy, but not as bad. I'm so glad that my mom came and helped me...without having my dad to do a lot of things anymore (he's still on IV's) my mom has stepped up and helped me a lot with my house.

I'm so glad these blinds are up! In the living room when the sun came in, it actually gave me a sunburn when I was sitting in there. And in my bedroom, no more blankets covering the window! YEPPEE! THANKS MOM!

New Moon!

Yes, I'm a fanatic and I love the Twilight Saga. A group of friends from work and I bought tickets early to see New Moon. We were going to go to the Midnight Showing, but decided to catch it early Friday morning. Some of us had it off since it was our normal flex day, and the others took the day off. We thought it would be so busy, so we went 2 hours early (7:30 AM). We were the first ones there! It was a blast, I love this gals! They are great friends! I'm going to start reading the books again!

Me, April, Jessica, Julie, Allyson and Nancy...then Jessie came later in the other picture below.

My New Home!

Warning---Long Posts ahead---Don't forget to click on "older posts" at the bottom so you can see all the pictures!!

Can I tell you how much I'm loving having my new place!?!?!? I love it! It took us awhile to get it ready, but I'm sure glad we took the time. My mom helped me so much with painting, installing blinds, and just being a handy man since my dad had surgery and couldn't help much. I owe her so much for all her help! My Uncle Rusty also came and hung lights for me! My granny came and help paint too! We kind of ran out of time, so we had Home Depot install the wood floors and the carpet. The guy that installed the wood floors was awesome! He did a great job and was so nice. He put up some of the baseboards to help get me started. The carpet guys did a good job too!

I bought all new appliance too from Best Buy. They are awesome! I'm not a big fan of Best Buy installation right now because they lost my order and it took forever to get them installed, but the price was good, and I love it! I got an upgraded microwave since they were out of the one I wanted (it's awesome, it has 2 racks!). I got $100 off my new fridge because I ordered all 4 appliances (it's so big and spacious, and has ice and water and even a spot for frozen pizza!) The stove is great too, and was cheaper than anyone we have seen. And I love having a dishwasher. It takes me all week to fill it up, but I love not having to wash dishes!

My bedrooms and bathrooms are great too, I love having the space. I also love having a garage! Right now my car barely fits in, because 1/2 of it has stuff for a garage sale! But I have room for my car, and all my decorations!

All in all, I'm so glad I'm a homeowner. My money is going to my investment, and I'm not living in the house with mice (it was so disgusting) I was very scared the mice would follow in my stuff, but so far I've been lucky! I love it! I'm glad my parents helped me in the entire process, and I finally feel grown up! Bro Dutson was a great Realtor and I had a great mortgage guy. If you need help, I'll hook you up with them!

I'm also getting the tax credit (eventually) so that will pay for all the paint, flooring, and appliances. I'll have some left to hopefully put up sunshades and the huge blind in my bedroom!

Anyway, enough out of me...enjoy the pictures of my First New Home! :)
