Hulsey Cousin Party

On Saturday, my dad's mom's side of the family (Hulsey) had a little get together. I know my dad's cousins pretty well, but not as well as some of my other family (Hatches, Winklers, etc.) Anyway, my cousin Kay had a little get together at her house to celebrate my Grandma Hall and my Aunt Evelyn who are both over the age of 90. We had a great time visiting and watching my grandma get reacquainted with her relatives. It's hard for her to remember who is who, but she lit up when each person came by to say hi. It was a great time!

Aren't these 2 so cute? My grandma is in her walker, while my Aunt walks on her own, she still even does her own gardening. For the age of 90, I hope I'm like them!

Dang Cops!

Ok, I have a pet peeve with cops, and this morning it happened again. Do you know when you're patiently sitting at a stop light, and just waiting and waiting waiting?

THEN!!!!!! A cop turns on his lights (because he doesn't want wait) and just drives through the intersection? WHAT THE?

THEN!!!!!! I look in my rear view mirror, and the lights are now off???????? WHAT THE??

THEN!!!!!! I continue to watch in my rear view mirror (all this time I'm still patiently waiting at the same stop light)....and the cop turns on his lights again and goes through the next stop light???? WHAT THE???

THAT IS SO NOT COOL! Just because you have the little twinkle lights on your car doesn't give you the power! Just wait like the rest of us, nothing is that worth of a hurry for, unless it's an emergency! Which this clearly wasn't as you turned towards Circle K! WHATEVER! If you are needing to do "business" leave your lights on! Not just on and off because it doesn't look good!

GOSH! I need to get me some red and blue lights, then I'll have the power! :)

Lucky's 1st Fishing Trip

You may have already seen this on my mom's blog, but I'm posting it here too. This weekend (Thursday and Friday) I took off and went with my parents and Lucky fishing at Saguaro Lake and Roosevelt Lake. We went to Saguaro first since it was closer just in case Lucky didn't like the boat or lake. He was PERFECT! He loved it! Grandpa and Grandma Hall (my parents) even bought him his own life vest. What a good doggie! We had a lot of fun! The fishing wasn't so great, but Mom caught the most (3) Dad caught one, and me NONE! Oh well! It was a blast, especially since I wasn't at work!
Dad--the fisherman

Mom--the winner and our driver

Dad teaching me (I kept snagging the line)

Lucky--isn't he so cute???

He loved the boat, even enough to sleep!

What are you doing?

Checking out Grandma's first catch and his first fish!

He was snooping all over the place, nothing scared him!

Showing off his life vest!

Who's the boss?

Another fish!

Mom---the pro!

Roosevelt Lake--it was so full!

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad. On March 13, 1976 these two people were sealed for time and all eternity in the Mesa Arizona Temple. I'm so glad that I am their daughter. Granny and I made them dinner last night and played Polish Poker. We had a great time. We had meatloaf, potatoes, salad, rolls and corn. For dessert, I made a cake and then made them cut the cake and feed each other...too cute! Happy Anniversary! I love you!

Lucky was pooped!

Guess they still need practice at the cake cutting/feeding each other thing :)

What do you get????

What do you get when you cross......
A dummy that is too much in a hurry and gets a little dizzy with....

A lethal weapon (my barbecue fork)????????

a RETARD!

Yes, I "scratched" my head, really nicely don't you think? I was feeding Lucky, got a little dizzy (I've been sick) and bent over, didn't notice the fork, and waaa la---a nice scratch....The blood that was coming out of this thing I thought I cut it open! NOT GOOD! It's so sore, and of course I can't hide it! It was sure fun telling everyone at work! :)
