Sugarland!

Sugarland was awesome! Sugarland and Rascal Flatts are my favorite country bands. I love the stage they had set up and they are so entertaining. Here's a video of one of my favorite songs... All I want to do! Sorry, stupid tall cowboy in front of me enjoyed his beer too much and was dancing like a moron in front of me...you can see his head come and go :) I'm going to try to upload "Everyday America" too, another favorite! Loved it! I loved how she started singing Beyonce's "All the single ladies" I think she was singing to me (2nd video...if it loads...yikes!!! If not, it's on my facebook page)! JK In the pictures is Jennifer (Sugarland) in a crazy dress for one song, I didn't get it LOL And the next 2 are more of Sugarland. The 4th one is Julianne Hough, I was excited to see her because I loved her on Dancing with the Stars. She did a few things weird-like, like swing and sing and change outfits all the time. My Uncle Rusty and I both thought of Britney Spears when she did this. Then the last one is another singer Vonda Shepherd, I have never heard of her before, but she did pretty good.

Randomness!

Randomness! Just some happenings lately. This is Foxie and Lucky hanging out with me last week while I was sick. They are best buds!


Kyla and I (sorry, taken from my phone) playing on the Carousel at Superstition Springs. She wanted to sit in the bench, so I got to join in while her mommy Clarissa watched. We had fun!

I'm a very bad person!

So, I’m putting this out. I’m a very bad LDS person. I’m not an example to anyone…do not be like me!

I know that I have been taught my whole life to keep the Sabbath Day Holy. Occasionally, we don’t, and I really wanted to go to the Sugarland Concert. It happened to be this past Sunday. My Uncle Rusty and I went and we had a blast! The concert was awesome, the lighting and sound was awesome, and Sugarland was AWESOME! The trip home….NOT SO awesome.

On our way home, a huge black bag of trash came out of the truck ahead of me, and I hit it. It made the loudest sound I have ever heard. I was going 65 mph on the Freeway, cars on both sides, no way to avoid it. We got out, and try to get everything pulled out. You’ll never guess what was in that stupid piece of trash! 2 huge metal kitchen bowls, a bucket, and tongs and some other crap! Ya, that all went through my bumper and got stuck. We got everything out and I saw it was a little dinted. Heck, it was 12:00 at night, we wanted to get home and it was dark. We made it home safe, and I looked at it the next morning and had my dad look at it. It was pretty lose and had some gashes. My mom suggested I take it to the auto body shop to get an estimate; it’s a brand new car! 4,000 miles! The guy told me it was at least going to be $1,000 and it’s sitting on the radiator, that can’t be good. So, needless to say, my brand new car is in the shop. My insurance will now go up.

Lesson Learned. Keep the Sabbath Day Holy!

Do I have a Green Thumb....Finally?

Well, I used to kill plants all the time! I had some in college, and they died. Well, I'm trying to take better care of these ones that I planted and it's working! My 2 rose bushes finally got their first roses! The first yellow little bud is coming up...and my pink had a full bloom! I was so excited when I went to go water them last night. I love it!

I immediately texted these pictures to my mom and dad and they were excited for me! :) My dad says, 4-H did pay off! I said, I learned from the best (hee hee, he was my Gardening instructor).

Come ....Sit awhile

I now have to brag about my new find! I got 3 chairs for my back porch....they are fun bright colors, and if you know me, you know how much I love those colors! Anyway...here they are, and the view from my porch. Oh, and I took a picture of my leg (showing that I'm in my new chair)! WOO HOO! I also mowed down the weeds!

Easter!

We had a great Easter! I made my mom help me dye Easter Eggs. I love still being a kid at heart! Although the Easter Bunny didn't visit, they were still fun to make. She had a great time writing secret messages on the eggs about me. It was fun! We got to eat Easter Dinner at my Granny's house and it was yummy! What a great weekend!

It pays......

It pays to do your taxes and work Overtime! YEAH BABY! I didn't have any screens on any of my windows or sliding glass door, now I do! I got solar sunscreens and they have only been on for an hour and I'm loving it! Especially this big window, my bedroom window! When summer hits, I'll be glad to have this on my window! My granny referred me to this guy who did her windows, and he was great! If you ever need to do this on your house, let me know! LOVING IT! My house is super dark on the inside today!
